Michael KWASS
Michael Kwass est professeur d’histoire à l’université Johns Hopkins de Baltimore. Auteur notamment de Privilege and the Politics of Taxation in Eighteenth- Century France, Liberté, Égalité, Fiscalité (2000), il poursuit actuellement ses recherches sur la « révolution de la consommation » au XVIIIe siècle. Sa biographie de Mandrin, parue en 2014 aux États-Unis, y a remporté l’Oscar Kenshur Book Prize (2014), le J. Russell Major Prize (2015), le Gilbert Chinard Prize (2015) et l’Annibel Jenkins Biography Prize (2013-2015).
